Directional Boring or Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) is a steerable trenchless method of installing underground pipes, conduits and cable along a designed bore path which is predetermined through subsurface investigation and other engineering methods.  HDD minimizes restoration and allows infrastructure to be installed in areas that were previously inaccessible by traditional construction equipment. The HDD process enables us to install infrastructure under interstates, railroads, lakes, rivers, parking lots, and driveways with little or no disruption.
